An overnight stay in this glorious park will give you plenty of time to marvel at the Makalia waterfalls and spot Thomson gazelles, impalas, leopards and buffaloes lurking in the brush.
Then, even more, wildlife awaits you in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve (the northern extension of the Serengeti) whose rolling plains form a playground for the “Big Five”; lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffaloes. These breath-taking beasts will stalk their prey or frolic playfully before your eyes, doing so to a soundtrack of chirps from approximately 470 different species of birds which are present in the Maasai Mara. Keep your eyes peeled for leopards and cheetahs during your safari drives too and prepare for the guide to provide plenty of context and information about all of these incredible species.
